Returns, Exchanges, Store Credits & Refunds

At The Kangaroo Pouch, our standard return resolution is store credit so families can continue finding products they love as their little ones grow.

In certain situations, refunds to the original payment method may be approved at management discretion.


Refunds & Store Credit

  • Approved returns are typically issued as store credit

  • Refunds to the original payment method may be approved on a case-by-case basis

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Orders that originally qualified for free shipping will have actual shipping costs deducted from any approved refund

  • Refunds or store credits are processed after returned merchandise is received and inspected


Processing Time

  • Store credits are typically issued within 24–72 hours after return approval

  • Approved refunds to the original payment method may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider

  • Depending on your financial institution, refunded funds may take several additional business days to appear in your account


Eligible Returns

We want you to love your purchase from The Kangaroo Pouch. If something isn’t the right fit, we’re happy to help within the guidelines below.

  • Most eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery

  • Items must be:

    • Unused

    • In original packaging

    • In original condition

  • Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required for all returns and exchanges

Approved refunds or store credits are issued for the purchase price minus:

  • Original shipping charges

  • Actual shipping costs on orders that originally qualified for free shipping

  • Any applicable restocking fees


Restocking Fees

Items returned without original packaging or not in original condition may be subject to a 15%–30% restocking fee.


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping and freight costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • We recommend keeping all original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for higher-value returns

  • Please do not return merchandise directly to the manufacturer unless instructed by our team


Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items

Due to hygiene and safety regulations, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Car seats (opened OR unopened)

  • Mattresses

  • Bedding products

  • Pacifiers

  • Bottles

  • Feeding accessories

  • Hygiene products

  • Clothing

  • Any item that comes into direct contact with skin or bodily fluids

  • Clearance and final sale items

  • Special order and custom furniture purchases once production has begun


Exchanges

Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis based on product availability and item condition.


Furniture & Freight Orders

Please inspect all freight deliveries carefully upon arrival.

  • Any visible damage must be noted with the delivery driver before signing

  • Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • Original packaging must be retained for any freight claim or return request

  • Freight claims may be denied if damage is not noted at the time of delivery

  • Refused freight deliveries may be subject to return freight and restocking charges

  • Furniture returns may require manufacturer approval before authorization is issued


Gift Returns

Eligible gift returns may be issued as store credit or gift credit once returned merchandise is received and inspected.


Shipping & Delivery Timelines

  • Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed

  • Delays may occur due to manufacturer production schedules, freight carrier delays, weather, or inventory availability

  • Orders ship complete whenever possible unless otherwise arranged


Shipping Regions

  • We currently ship within the continental United States

  • Additional shipping charges and extended delivery timelines may apply to Alaska and Hawaii shipments
